AKP Recruiting values our relationships with both our clients and potential candidates for each available position. To ensure the best fit for each industry, we abide by a 10 step process that allows for fluidity and consistency. The following steps will also help you understand the process that our team at AKP Recruiting follows to help everyone involved benefit from our recruiting services.
Our clients, including large and small organizations, come to us looking to fill an available position in their company.
Using our extensive Applicant Tracking System, we keep candidates in the loop with available job positions that are in need of filling. We also reach out through other social media outlets to let candidates know a position is available. We hit the phones hard and start hunting until we find the right candidate.
Upon finding a qualified candidate, we begin with an initial screening process which includes: interest level, attitude, willingness to relocate (if necessary), are you a cultural fit, etc.
We work in parallel with our clients’ Hiring Manager/HR Department to develop a custom questionnaire for each position. In an effort to gather all the information possible ab out our clients’ potential candidates, it’s important that we have each candidate fill out a thorough questionnaire to further elaborate on an individual’s qualifications, skills and experience.
In addition to our questionnaire, we ask each candidate to send us an updated resume. Depending on the position we may also ask for certification, project lists, cover letter, and/or references to pass along to the Hiring Manager.
Once we get all the information over to our client, we’ll put the candidate in touch with the respective company’s Hiring Manager. Each company has their own way of proceeding with the hiring process once the recruiting process comes to an end; here’s where most Hiring Managers will arrange a phone interview for the candidate.
The next step after a phone interview is to schedule a Face-to-Face interview with the representative from our client’s company. This step in the process allows for further evaluation of the candidate, in addition to the opportunity for the client and candidate to assess each other. Here is where the client and candidate will get a good feel for a long term commitment to each other should the position be offered to the candidate.
After the questionnaires have been reviewed, the interviews have been assessed and the client and the candidate have had time to debrief, the client will decide if they want to issue an offer to their available position. Negotiations may also be made during this step in the process.
We work closely with our clients to ensure that they’re confident in the candidate they’re about to offer a position to. We’ll go through each step in the process to make sure all our client’s bases have been covered and the candidate they chose is the right fit for the position.
At the end of the day, AKP Recruiting’s top priority is the people we work with. We want to satisfy both, our clients, and our candidates, and believe we achieve this goal through our personal relationships and tedious recruiting process.
